Our coffee

We proudly serve Clifton Coffee at Crushed Bean with seasonal and guest blends finding it's way to your cups.

Founded by James Fisher in 2001, Clifton Coffee Company began its life servicing espresso machinery in the independent businesses of Bristol.

In 2013 Clifton started their in-house production roastery to concentrate solely on sourcing, roasting and supplying the worlds finest specialty coffees.

Espresso

Since day 1 E1 Project Espresso has been our staple coffee. The E1 Project has been running since 2015 and is the partnership of Clifton Coffee and Ricardo Lima who leads a group of farmers and producers in Ahuachapán, El Salvador.

The current crop delivers notes of Dark Chocolate, Biscoff and Nectarine in espresso, and when served with milk we found notes of malted biscuit, hazelnut and demerara sugar. These versatile characteristics are what we have come to love from these coffees produced by the Lima family.

Filter

We have a variety of coffees roasted for filter for something to suit everyone. We also sell 250g bags of beans to take home for your filter coffee machine, Chemex or V60.
